Encrypted AS3 Projects Not Working
The Encryption Engine in SWF Encrypt 5.x was updated to support Flash 9/ActionScript 3.0, and the most recent 6.x Updates include support for Flash 10/ActionScript 3.0 Projects.
Due to the complex nature of the Flash 9 and Flash 10 Formats, it has been confirmed that some Flash 9/10 SWF Files produced with Flex 2/3 and/or Flash CS3/CS4 may not function correctly after being encrypted with SWF Encrypt 5.0 and/or SWF Encrypt 6.0. In some cases, errors are produced when attemtpting to run the Encrypted SWF File.
All Users should upgrade to the very latest 6.x Build which uses an updated Encryption Engine and can usually resolve this problem.
If the problem still persists, users should set the "Encrypt Names" option to "False" in the SWF Encrypt GUI. Setting the above options to "False" will increase compatability in Encrypted Flex/CS3/CS4 SWF Files and prevent errors from occuring post-encryption.
