Bitmaps/Images in Compressed SWFs are very low quality
When you compress a SWF with SWF Compress 1.0, the default Image Settings will compress the internal bitmaps with a very high compression. This can sometimes cause Images to appear very low quality when compared to the original SWF.
To maximize the quality of bitmaps, please select the following options in the SWF Compress GUI:
Force to Jpeg -> False
Image Quality -> Best Image Quality
Using the above options will maximize quality whilst still compressing the Images.
